Yoga: The Sanskrit noun Yoga translates to ‘’yoke’’. It is derived from the root ‘’yuj’’ which means to attach, join or unite. It means the discipline of the intellect, the mind, the emotions, the will, which Yoga presupposes; it means a poise of the soul enabling the person to look at life evenly in all its aspects.
Nabhi : is a Sanskrit word meaning ‘’navel’’, ‘’hub’’, ‘’umbilical cord’’, or ‘’nucleus’’. In the context of Yoga, it is the energy center located above the navel known as solar plexus or navel Chakra.
Nabhi chakra is a vortex that is believed to attract prana from the universe; it governs transformation and gives a sense of fearlessness and courage when doing changes. My Journey
I have created Nabhi Yoga as a holistic health and wellness platform with the aim to provide to you tools and methods, through the ancient practices and philosophies of East and West. By using them you can let life unfold as a meaningful and joyful journey towards your goals and purpose.
This way you are going to create an opportunity for you not only to reclaim your physical, mental and emotional health but also to rediscover your inner healing abilities that have been restrained for far too long, unraveling new pathways towards your personal healing journey.
Bringing awareness to these small daily actions towards our happiness and growth, life itself can become the most magnificent playground, by experiencing and appreciating the beauty of ourselves and this world we all live in.
My vision is to offer even more than just an individual lifestyle, in fact, the culture that produced yogis was itself designed to create an ecologically sustainable, socially fair and spiritually fulfilling human presence on Planet Earth.
A holistic and authentic perspective clearly necessary in order to create the balanced and beautiful world our hearts are aware of, is now possible.
With the humility to listen deeply and take action for our own true needs and development, creating harmonious relationships with ourselves and the world around us.
We can become our own dream-makers and harmonize our life with this global movement to become a catalyst for mental and spiritual transformation at a time when our world needs it the most.
If we tune our Vision, it is clear that our daily practices and attitudes will become the education and inspiration of the world we walk upon and they may have a very important role to play in shaping the hearts and minds of those young ages that hold the future of our planet in their hands.
This requires us to look beyond the limits of the mat, which in many ways represent the boundaries of our limited self.
Be the inspiration of this world by starting inspiring yourself.
Love is old. Love is new. Love is all. Love is you.
